XSL is an extension given to files used by programs such as Microsoft Groove and its successor, Microsoft SharePoint Workspace. XSL files store databases used by these programs for various purposes.

The SharePoint Workspace application was added to the Microsoft Office suite up to and including 2010. Later, OneDrive for Business began to be added. However, it wasn't exactly the equivalent of the older collaborative document development tool.
