FMSP is a binary format file used by installers for Microsoft Windows. MSP files are used during installation processes, usually security updates. Many programs also used MSP file for installation related purposes.
MSP is a stand-alone update package file used by such services as Windows Update or Hotfix.exe. MSP file structure uses double database transformation system – one is used for updates, the other for applying them.
