Files with the .MUI extension contain resources used by the Multilingual User Interface component, versions 2000 and newer. The resources allow for the changing of the Windows system interface language, as well as the language of its apps. MUI system files are, by default, found in the main system catalog, whereas the relevant files for the individual programs can be found in Program Files catalogs.
Changing the system language, provided that the right MUI files are installed or downloaded, is quite easy, and can be done using the control panel.
