B6I is a closed disc image format used by BlindWrite version 6. B6I files store exact copy of given disc along with all security settings. B6I image files are accompanied by small document files B6T that contain information about image file structure.
BlindWrite is a paid software with license priced at 20 USD. BlindWrite plunged in popularity as more users lost interest in using CD/DVD for storing data. Since 2013 the application is no longer developed.

How to associate the file with an installed software?
If you want to associate a file with a new program (e.g. my-file.B6I) you have two ways to do it. The first and the easiest one is to right-click on the selected B6I file. From the drop-down menu select "Choose default program", then click "Browse" and find the desired program. The whole operation must be confirmed by clicking OK. The second and more difficult to do is associate the B6I file extension to the corresponding software in the Windows Registry.
Is there one way to open unknown files?
