SUIT is a file format used by legacy versions of Apple Mac OS. SUIT file format was used for storing fonts. SUIT files are typically located in ‘Fonts’ system folder.
Since Mac OS 9.2.2 Apple decided to introduce solutions commonly used by other system platforms and discontinued using SUIT files. Thus, TrueType font format has become the new font standard used in Apple systems.
