ABA file contains contact data from contact database used by Palm devices. ABA document files are created by Palm OS devices and store backup copy of email adresses, names, photos, business information, and telephone numbers.

ABA is an obsolete format and no longer in use, chiefly because the sharp fall in popularity of palmtop devices. In order to recover contact data from the file, it must be converted into different format, for example, vCard standard, using the Palm Desktop tool.
