File with a .RBF extension contains an archive of files generated during installation via Windows Installer. It is the so-called rollback file, enabling to move a step back in the process of installation, in case some step is not successful.
Files within RBF can be restored in case of an unsuccessful installation. The RBF archive along with its corresponding RBS script are contained in the Config.MSI file.
