File with .CPS extension contains digital raster image created with Corel Photo House. This was a proprietary format and wasn’t supported by other photo editing software.

Software which supported CPS files was designed in late 20th and early 21st century and is no longer actively developed. It was replaced by other software offered by Corel. This software offered easy-to-use photo editing tools and option to create custom bitmap images from the ground up.
