CTF is a file format native to antivirus software AVG Antivirus. CTF is a configuration file that stores information required by program for update-related processes.
CTF files can be downloaded manually or by using autoupdate feature. Typically CTF files are saved as avginfoavi.ctf and avginfowin.ctf. Damaged or corrupted CTF files should be deleted and then update process can be restarted.
