FDX is a file extension used for files created with Final Draft, a software tool for creating movie scripts. Final Draft is commonly used in the movie industry with 95% market share.

FDX files store finished scripts which can then be printed or exported to other formats or tools. FDX files saved data in XML format. In order to use Final Draft, user must purchase a software license, either educational or studio.
