GHS files, along with GHO files, are used by Norton Ghost and Symantec Ghost Solution Suite software for creating disk images. The above-mentioned tools allow users to created backup copies of entire systems, disks, or files/folders.
GHS files are divided into segments. Each subsequent segment has the same file name with added numerical symbol, starting with 001.
