File with an .LDB extension contains information on an access blockage to a MDB Microsoft Access database, created automatically by software. It is used in the same location as the opened database and has the same name with a different extension.

LDB files provide an exclusive access to database modifications, at the same time by a single user. They provide data integrity and prevent from unexpected updates overwriting. LDB files should not be opened, deleted or modified manually.
