Files with the .OLD extension contain backup data for a specific file, usually created when new information is added to the original file or when a newer version is created. This extension is usually added at the end of the full file name, for example a file called Dokument.doc will be named Dokument.doc.old.

OLD files can be created automatically by the software as well as manually by the user. If you want to access a file, it is usually enough to remove the .OLD suffix and open the file in the target application.
