RWZ file is a rules file created Microsoft Outlook. RWZ file contains filters that allow sorting of emails according to given user-defined criteria. Sorted messages are then stored in different folders based on its content or sender.

Sorting rules can be used to discard unwanted emails, so called ‘spam’. Microsoft Outlook program automatically generates a RWZ file, but and option to import previously generated rules in also available.
