SCT is an extension of files storing bitmap graphics mainly used by Scitex graphics processing devices. This format is supported by some graphics processing programs. SCT files can contain images that use the CMYK, RGB color spaces or are grayscale generated images.

A maximum of 128 bits can be allocated to one pixel of an SCT image. In addition to the graphic data, the file includes a control section and a graphic parameters section.
