Files with the MMM extension are an older multimedia file format developed for Windows 3.1. The format of these files was based on the Interchange File Format with the difference that it was optimized for 8086 processors, while the former was used by systems developed for 64k processors.

MMM files were associated with a multimedia content creation platform called Adobe Director (formerly Macromedia Director).
