Files with the VSE extension are mainly associated with devices used in CCTV systems. They are generated, among others, by 4CH DVR video recorders and some cameras used in monitoring.

VSE files are used to store video footage captured by surveillance equipment. They are operated using the Video Server E software, which allows for saving and viewing them. It is a proprietary format by the manufacturer of this solution, AVTECH. VSE files can be converted with Video Server E to the more accessible AVI format.
